Scientists with giant brains say that one of the biggest fears people have is having their picture taken.

There's a good reason for this fear: no one likes to look goofy. When Aunt Tillie takes your picture, you look goofy. But that's not your fault; all of Aunt Tillie's pictures look goofy. Ours don't.

At Coonrod Photography, it's not like "having your picture taken," it's a whole different deal.

If you think Sr Portraits at Coonrod Photography will be like the last 11 years of "school pictures", you're in for a big surprise. You won't stand in line waiting for the picture guy with the one lame joke, and the same old pose for everyone. No siree! We have lots of lame jokes!

At Coonrod Photography, you'll have fun.

We take your portraits seriously, but we don't take ourselves seriously. If getting your Sr. Portrait isn't fun, it's not worth doing - after all, Sr. Portraits aren't essential to life. Your session will be fun. When you're enjoying yourself, you'll be comfortable, and you'll look great!

What if they don't turn out? Aunt Tillie's pictures never turn out...

One thing that makes Coonrod Photography really different is that we don't have a routine set of poses for every Senior that comes to our studio. When you walk in the door, we won't grab you and set you on a stool and shout, "NOW SMILE BIG!"

When you arrive, we'll sit down and talk; we have no idea what your portraits are going to look like until we get to know you a little bit. Seniors tell us their portraits look so real and natural. Their friends say,

"These portraits show the real you - no fake smiles or awkward poses!"

That's because we don't make you do fake smiles and awkward poses. Our goal is to learn about you so that we can portray your real personality - the real you!

Here's another thing: Our portraits are entirely digital. You will see your portraits projected on our giant screen and make your choices from there. It's reassuring to see that your portraits have turned out great, before you buy them.

Digital also means that our retouching is phenomenal. You don't have to worry about a zit that shows up the night before your session. Some studios offer retouching as an extra, but at Coonrod's, it's standard. Every image will be flawless!

You must love your portraits.

If there is anything wrong with your pictures, we will fix and replace them free of charge, or refund your money - your choice. That's a pretty strong guarantee, but we make it because we are confident you will be thrilled with your portraits.

Think about this. If you didn't look great, would we let you out the door with your portraits? Of course not! When you look good, it makes us look good. When you show your Senior Portraits to your friends, we want them to say:

"Awesome! Where'd you get these?"

And we want you to say:

"I got them at Coonrod's! You should go there too!"
