Introducing WebAlbum

We were notified recently that some profiles on MySpace and other “social networking” websites have Coonrod Photography Senior Portraits on them.

We're flattered that people are proud of their portraits, but it causes a problem for us... You see, some of the images look pretty bad. It may be due to poor quality scanning, or attempts to manipulate the image, or in some cases, it looks like someone took a cell phone picture of the original portrait and posted it. We don't want people to see a fuzzy, grainy, or otherwise bad portrait with our logo at the bottom, and think it’s a true example of our work. (It makes us look bad!)

Also, we don’t want our clients to get their portraits deleted when the suits notice that they’re displaying copyrighted material.

So here's what we're going to do:

Starting now, when you get your Senior Portraits at Coonrod Photography, you will have the opportunity to get a FREE WebAlbum of some or all of your images. The complete Album will be posted on your own private page of the Coonrod Photography Website, so you can email the link to anyone with web access. (We figured your Grandma might not be on MySpace...) You will also get the code to display a cool gallery of your portraits on your profile, or in your blog, or whatever.

The pictures will look awesome online (no bad scanning) AND you will have full authorization from us, so your portraits can’t get kicked off!

I’m a 2006 (or earlier) Senior and I’ve already posted scanned images on my blog...

If you are one of our Seniors from 2001 – 2006, you can still get in on the free portraits — just click the “Contact Us” link on the right and tell us: your name, the year you graduated, and, if you have one of your portraits handy, the 8-digit number found just under the Coonrod logo. (If you graduated in 2000 or before, your portraits are on film and we can’t provide them for posting, sorry...)
