And the winner is...

Ruth Clements is the winner of the first round of Sr. Idol. She and other Seniors whose sessions were in July participated in the Senior Idol Voting from August 1 to August 31, and when the votes were tallied, Ruth was the leader. She wins the monthly prize of $50 and the Title of Senior Idol for July!

Ruth is a home-schooled Senior from Colchester. She credits some of her success to the note she circulated at church, telling everyone to log on and vote for her. (Not a bad strategy… August competitors, take note!)
